Sesame Street Live- When Elmo Grows Up.....

Yesterday, Jason, Olivia and I went to Nashville to watch Sesame Street Live- When Elmo Grows Up, and we had so much fun! Olivia did not move out of her seat (or my lap, I guess I should say), once the show started. The only time her eyes left the stage was to ask "Where did Elmo go?", "Where did Big Bird go?" and Where did Abby Cadabby go?". It was so cute! The only thing she didn't like was when the characters got too close to her. She would then start clawing my chest and climbing up my body! She loved them, but she also wanted them to keep their distance. Too funny! Thank you so much Holly for letting me know they were coming and for sending me the information. She loved it! (So did Jason and I!) We took a ton of pictures, it was hard to decide which one's to post.

On our way to see Elmo! She was so excited! She kept saying "I wanna see Elmo Daddy!". We couldn't even park without getting fussed at. We were just too darn slow for her. :-)

Anxiously awaiting the show to begin......

Still waiting.......

And finally, it is starting..... :-)

Abby Cadabby!!!!

Yay,,, I love it!!!!!

Oh yay,,, keep on going!!! (as she's falling over! hehe)

Waving bye to Elmo and his friends!

On our way home from Nashville, she was beat! She held those eyes open during the concert, but she couldn't keep them open in the car!!

Happy Birthday Aunt Erica!

I just wanted to take a moment to wish my sister Erica a Happy Birthday. I do realize your birthday is Monday, but I had the time this morning to do it, so I thought I better go ahead and post it now in case I was too busy the night before your birthday. (school :-) I want you to know how very special you are to us and how very much we love you. (Of course, you already knew that) I am lucky to have you as my sister. I hope you have a wonderful 30th birthday old woman! hehe. I love you little sister. So does your niece!!! She loves her "Aunt Eka"! Love you bunches and bunches! Happy Birthday!

UPDATE: Ok, so my sister calls me tonight, (Sunday), to tell me how sweet I was and to thank me for thinking of her. Then she says, "There's only only one problem, I'm not 30. I'm 31." I am such an airhead!! I can't remember anything! I can't get anyone's birthday right! I even called my mother to make sure I had it right and she was wrong too. Guess I come by it honest!!! At least I'm not in my moms shoes! :-) hehe.. I bet she's in BIG trouble!

Dad's New Weight Set

Tonight I was in the kitchen cleaning supper dishes and I heard Jason say, "Mom, come look at my new weight set." He and Olivia were playing and having lots of fun. Of course I had to grab my camera. She is such a daddy's girl!

Ummm, I think daddy may be getting tired! Looks like Olivia is fixing to go face first into the carpet!

Happiness.....

So, I had an incident that really touched my heart, as well as my husbands, and I wanted to share it. No one has ever mentioned this to me about their children, (so this came as a surprise to me), but I just had to mention it. Olivia has really gotten into movies. She loves to pop in a movie and watch it. One of her many favorites is Chicken Little. A couple of weeks ago, I was doing homework or something on the computer and Olivia was in the living room watching Chicken Little. All of a sudden, I hear her just start roaring with laughter and laughing out loud at the movie. Now, I know this sounds so dumb, but it just melted my heart. Hearing my child giggling with laughter and happiness, was the most wonderful thing my ears had ever heard. I am not sure why? I got up and watched her from down the hallway for a few minutes, then I went back to what I was doing and never mentioned it. Well, last night, she did it again and I saw Jason come around the corner smiling from ear to ear watching her. He had the same reaction I did and felt the exact same way I did when I heard it. I am not sure what it is, but it is such a wonderful feeling. I mean she laughs all the time, but something about it just touched our hearts. I thought it was just me the first time it happened. I love her so much. I never knew love like this until I had a child. Just wanted to share.

Our Little Witch......

What a fun- but stressful day. We had lots of people to see in a short period of time, so the stress was on. There are a few people's house we didn't make it to, but we did the best we could. We are so sorry!! We were fussing about the whole situation last night, but then we started thinking about how badly we felt 2 years ago when we were sitting at home, handing out candy, and aching for a child... Then everything got better :-) Now we are happy for our very stressful night! I hope everyone had a Happy Halloween!!

Here she is... Our Beautiful Little Witch....

Olivia's cousin Hayden... (By the way, his hair is really snow white!!)

Olivia and her cousins Rylan and Charlie... A witch, a pirate and an Indian!!

The Scary Bunch!!! (Evan, Aaron, Sloan, and Sawyer)

Olivia and her aunt Deana... Two witches!!! Eeekkk!!!!

Our little witch was beat after a long night of trick-or-treating! Poor girl!!

If we saw you last night and your picture is not on here, we are sorry!! We forgot to take pictures at some places last night... We love you all!!!!
