Happy Father's Day to one special Daddy!! Olivia is daddy's little girl for sure! She is anxiously awaiting his arrival everyday when he comes home from work and the first words out of her mouth in the mornings are "Is my daddy here?" We love you Jason! You are one super terrific daddy!! The Best!!!!!
So, Olivia and I were in the car yesterday, leaving Nanna Nanna's house, listening to Alan Jackson's gospel CD with the song "Are you washed in the blood of the lamb?". So, we are just singing away, and Olivia starts shouting, "No, no momma.. we don't wash with blood, that's yuck!!!" Too funny!!! Bless it... I guess I better start paying more attention to what I am listening to, because obviously, she is!!!!!
By the way, if you like gospel music, if you don't already have this CD, you must purchase it. The Jones family loves it....
Just wanted to say "Happy 10th Anniversary" to my sweet and precious husband Jason. He is the love of my life and my very best friend. He is also the best husband any woman could ever hope for. When we first decided to get married, I was planning the big, huge, monstrous wedding. Then, for some reason, I just changed my mind and we decided to go to the court house and get married. I don't regret it at all, I do wish sometimes though that we had done the big wedding so I would have the pictures, but we didn't. That is what I regret about my decision. But, my sister Erica took a bunch of pictures of us at the court house though. :-) I love you Jason Jones with all of my heart and soul. I could not have or want for a better life than the one I am living with you. You will always be the love of my life!!!!! Thank you for putting up with me for 10 long years :-)
This is a picture of us in front of the court house on June 4th, 1999. My, my how we change in just 10 years!!!!
This is just another old picture of us at the ball fields!!
I prayed for this child, and the LORD has granted me what I asked of him.

The Gift of Life
I didn't give you the gift of life,
But in my heart I know.
The love I feel is deep and real,
As if it had been so.
For us to have each other
Is like a dream come true!
No, I didn't give you
The gift of life,
Life gave me the gift of you.
We witness a miracle every time a child enters into life.
But those who make their journey home across time & miles,
growing within the hearts of those who wait to love them,
are carried on the wings of destiny and placed among us
by God's very own hands.
