Isn't this pitiful??? Our first shiner...




I don't know if you can really tell from the pictures, but Miss Olivia has her first official black eye. She and her cousin Hayden were at his house jumping on the bed (we think) and this is the end result.. Scared me to death. It was really swollen last night, but today it's starting to turn that nice shade of black and gone down a bit. Pitiful...

Here are a few pics from our week at the fair.I have more pictures on my phone that I wanted to post, but I am not sure how to do that. If someone wants to volunteer that information, that would be great for future reference. I am really dumb when it comes to technology.

Okay, Olivia LOVED these little pigs.. Particularly the black ones. All we have heard about since the fair is that she wants a black pig. We went to see them everytime we went to the fair.

Olivia and her beautiful cousin Hope. Hope was in the Little Miss pageant at the fair. She made it to the top 20 (or 30) or something like that and there were 80 something little girls in it. Anyway, we are proud of her. She was beautiful!

poor Olivia! All you have to do is email the pics to your email address from your phone...send it like a picture text just put in your email address as the phone number! Thats how I do mine.

I agree with Olivia, the pigs were the best part of the Petting Zoo. Even though we weren't allowed to "pet" them. Kind of an oxymoron don't you think? LOL Hope Miss Olivia's eye is better. She is cute, no matter what!

Slowdown....

I just want to tell everyone now, my posts may start slowing down drastically when school starts back. I start on the 15th (next Thursday) and I do have some rather difficult classes this time. Also, I will be studying for the hesi test that I have to take if February, so my blog life will be taking a back seat for a while... I am not going to quit blogging though. I do have plans for a couple of posts in the near future, I just can't keep up like I am used to when classes start. I made it into nursing school!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As you can see, I am sooooooo excited!!! I received my letter of acceptance into the Fall 2009 nursing program today. All the hard work has finally paid off! Now, I just hope I can make it through nursing school. There were 580 applicants this year and they chose 80. I am oh so happy!!! I think I will go do my happy dance now!!! Toodles!!!

"Pray to Jesus"....

So the past few weeks, Jason and I have decided to try to get in the habit of saying a prayer before we all eat dinner at night. I'll admit, this is one habit Jason and I never did that we should have already been doing. Anyway, at night I will say "Oh, we need to say our prayers." Olivia just loves it. Everyone at the table ends up saying a prayer (at Olivia's request). But I just had to post, every one of her prayers start with "Pray to Jesus".. EVERY ONE! And if we forget to say them, (yes, we forget) she says "We need to pray to Jesus!" It is the sweetest thing ever! She always makes us close our eyes and cross our fingers together. So tonight, I'll admit, I peeked to see what kind of face she was making during these prayers, and it was the cutest thing ever... So, I got up and got the camera ~ and then got in trouble!! Hehe.... :-) Our baby is growing up!!! AMEN!!!!!!!!
