Camo Day at School....

Image
Friday was camo day at school. I am usually prepared for these things, but for some reason hadn't looked at the calender until Thursday last week, only to find that Friday (the next day) was camo day. So, I called Olivia's cousin Hayden (who is 8 months younger than her I might add) and asked if we could borrow some camo clothes. They, of course, said yes, but the britches fell off her tiny hiney!!! :o( So, needless to say, this little camo hat & some green shorts are all I could come up with, but they worked. I bought the hat at Wal-Mart several months ago on clearance thinking it would never be worn, but I bought it anyway.. Thank goodness I did.. Her teachers told me when I went to pick her up that the hat and hair didn't last very long that day.. Oh well.... All that stress for nothing! She could've cared less! :o)

Olivia's First Soccer Game...

Image
I am getting REALLY behind on my posts so I thought I would sit down and do a quick one tonight. Saturday, the 28th of August was Olivia's first soccer game and she did really well. It was VERY hot that day and I figured she would be complaining of the heat, but she never did. Her team lost 4-6 (I think), but they all did good. Olivia gets the ball and can guide it really well with her feet where she wants it to go, but she is still reluctant to just rare back and kick it. She kinda sits back and stays out of the crowd fighting for the ball, then if it pops out of the crowd, she's got it.Her uncle Jay has worked with her some this week so we are hoping to see a more of an aggressive side of Olivia next game :o) (Oh, I must mention, at one point during the game, Olivia came running by her daddy and I, with two thumbs up, grinning ear to ear. It was sooooo funny. She had no idea where that ball was at the time. I love her to death I'm telling ya! Lots of people came to cheer ...
